What file formats do you need?
Vector files work best: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF with vector paths. We can work with high-resolution raster files (PNG, JPG at 300+ DPI) but may need to vectorize them ($25-75 one-time fee).
Can you cut full-color images?
Our cutter cuts shapes from solid-color vinyl. For full-color printed decals with custom shapes, we use our Latex Printing + Contour Cutting combo — print full-color, then cut to shape. One workflow, in-house.
What's the smallest detail you can cut?
We can cut features as small as 1/4" — depending on design complexity. Very thin lines (<1/16") may not weed cleanly. We'll review your design and flag issues before cutting.
How long does vinyl last?
Economy calendared: 1-2 years. Premium calendared: 3-5 years. Cast vinyl: 5-7+ years. Outdoor exposure and cleaning frequency affect lifespan. We recommend the right grade for your application.
What's the difference between vinyl frosting and sandblast etching?
Vinyl frosting is adhesive film on glass — cheaper, removable, but peels after 3-7 years. Sandblast etching removes glass material — permanent, premium, no maintenance. We offer both and recommend honestly.
