A pool services website built to drive free quotes — not just list repair services.
The Problem
- A pool repair company serving both residential and commercial clients (hotels, resorts, condos) — but a website that buried that differentiation under generic service descriptions
- CPC license and insurance prominently displayed but not positioned as a trust differentiator vs. unlicensed competitors
- Serves two distinct audiences (homeowners AND commercial properties) with no clear path for either
- Premium brands (Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, CLI, NPT) listed but not positioned as quality differentiation
- Multiple services (resurfacing, repair, heaters, automation, leak detection) competing for attention on the same page
- No urgency or scarcity messaging — pool problems are urgent, but the site didn't communicate that
What We Did
- Positioned CPC license and insurance as the #1 trust differentiator — "Licensed Florida CPC 1460166" means they're legit, not a guy with a bucket
- Split the site into two clear audience funnels — residential (homeowners) and commercial (hotels, resorts, condos, property managers)
- Organized services by problem urgency — leak detection and repair (urgent) vs. resurfacing and upgrades (planned)
- Positioned premium brands (Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, CLI, NPT) as quality assurance, not just product lists
- Made commercial experience the hero — serving hotels and resorts requires different expertise than backyard pools
- Added urgency to problem-based services — leak detection, pool repair, and screen repair are urgent problems that need immediate action
The Result
- CPC license positioned as competitive advantage vs. unlicensed competitors
- Two clear audience funnels: Residential vs Commercial
- Services organized by urgency: "Fix it now" vs "Upgrade when ready"
- Premium brands positioned as quality differentiation
- Commercial experience leveraged as expertise differentiator
- Mobile-optimized with click-to-call for pool emergencies

The Challenge
Orlando Pool Tech has real differentiation in a market full of unlicensed pool guys with buckets:
- Florida CPC 1460166 licensed — legitimate contractor vs. unlicensed handyman
- Commercial + residential experience — they serve hotels, resorts, condos, AND homeowners
- Premium brands — Jandy, Pentair, Hayward for equipment; CLI, Pre-mix, NPT for resurfacing
- Full-service capability — from leak detection to deck painting, they do it all
But the website wasn't communicating any of that effectively. It listed services like a menu. The license was there but not positioned as a trust signal. Commercial and residential clients got the same generic messaging. And pool emergencies — which need urgent action — weren't treated with urgency.
The bottom line: When someone's pool is leaking or broken, they're not browsing services. They need someone licensed, insured, and available NOW. The site needed to communicate all three.
Our Approach
Licensed and Insured = Competitive Advantage
In Florida, anyone can buy pool chemicals and call themselves a pool service. But a CPC license and full liability insurance? That's a legitimate contractor. We positioned "Licensed Florida CPC 1460166" as the #1 trust differentiator — because it separates Orlando Pool Tech from every unlicensed guy offering "cheap pool repair" on Facebook Marketplace.
Two Audiences, Two Expertise Paths
Commercial pools (hotels, resorts, condos) and residential pools (backyards) require different expertise, insurance, and scheduling. We created clear paths for both:
- Residential: Homeowners, backyard retreats, family pools
- Commercial: Property managers, hotels, resorts, condos, high-traffic pools
Services Organized by Urgency
Pool problems aren't all the same. A leak needs fixing NOW. Resurfacing can be planned. Automation is an upgrade, not a repair. We organized services by urgency:
- Urgent (Fix Now): Leak detection, pool repair, screen repair
- Planned (Schedule When Ready): Resurfacing, deck painting, pool lighting
- Upgrades (Enhance Your Pool): Pool heaters, pool automation
Premium Brands = Quality Assurance
"Jandy, Pentair, Hayward" isn't just product listing. It's quality assurance. We positioned certified specialists in leading equipment as proof of expertise — because homeowners and property managers want to know their pool is being fixed with quality parts, not generic knock-offs.
What We Built
- Homepage — CPC license hero ("Licensed Florida CPC 1460166"), residential vs commercial paths, services organized by urgency, premium brands as trust signals, "Get a Free Quote" CTA
- Service Pages — Each service (resurfacing, repair, heaters, automation, leak detection, pumps, screen repair, deck painting, lighting, maintenance) structured with problem → solution → quote path
- Resurfacing Page — Premium material brands (CLI, Pre-mix, NPT), multiple options (aggregate quartz, pebble, mini pebble, pebble with glass, terrazzo), custom design
- Commercial Focus — Explicit messaging around serving hotels, resorts, condos, property managers — not just homeowners
- Trust Architecture — CPC license, full liability insurance, premium brands, certified specialists — all positioned as "Why Orlando Pool Tech"
- Free Quote Form — Prominent on every page, because pool problems need quotes, not browsing
Key Results
- CPC license positioned as competitive advantage — "Licensed contractor vs. unlicensed handyman" differentiator
- Two clear audience funnels — Residential homeowners vs commercial property managers
- Services organized by urgency — "Fix it now" vs "upgrade when ready"
- Premium brands as quality assurance — Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, CLI, NPT = trusted parts, not generic
- Commercial experience leveraged — Hotels, resorts, condos = different expertise than backyard pools
- Mobile-optimized for emergencies — Click-to-call for pool leaks and equipment failures
For pool services, the only metric that matters: free quote requests and service calls. Everything we built serves that goal.
About JVR
This is how JVR builds home service websites that drive quotes — not just list services.
Most pool service websites list repair services like a menu. JVR finds what actually differentiates a contractor — licenses, insurance, premium brands, commercial experience — and builds the site around that truth. Pool owners don't hire services. They hire licensed, insured professionals who show up. We make sure they find you first.
Your competitor's website says "pool repair services." Yours should say "Licensed CPC contractor serving hotels, resorts, and homeowners." If it doesn't, you're competing with every unlicensed guy on Facebook Marketplace.
